Optical Illusionary Effects

IF WE HAVE A LOOK AT THE CERAMIC FORMS AND decorations from the past to the present, we can observe a lot of different effects, techniques and approaches. Some of these depend on art theories, while the purpose of others is to reflect the expectations, sensitivities, cultures,  beliefs, behaviours, relationships, emotions and thoughts of their corn- 1 munities. Optical illusionary effects, of which definition is character-ised   by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality are also used perhaps unwittingly in the earlier examples, but later are used voluntarily in ceramic art.
